The 'With Me' Books: These were part of the Junior Sportsman's Library, in which various country pursuits were written about in a fictional style in order to encourage children to take them up. Ms. Heath contributed three horse-related titles to the library which were a little along the same lines of A Pony in the Family, etc, by Judith Berrisford. I think the first two books follow the same characters, but the third does not. All can be read as stand-alones.
1) COME RIDING WITH ME (MULLER 1955) ILLUSTRATED BY TOM CARR SUMMARY: Fictionalised riding manual type book, in which a young girl learns about ponies and riding. Jane learns to ride and eventually progresses well enough to ride to hounds.
2) COME SHOW JUMPING WITH ME (MULLER 1961) ILLUSTRATED BY TOM CARR SUMMARY: Fictionalised guide to jumping in which Jane is determined to have success as a show jumper.
3) COME PONY TREKKING WITH ME (MULLER 1964) ILLUSTRATED BY TOM CARR SUMMARY: Fictionalised guide to trekking, following a family on a trekking holiday and beyond. The Spencer family are looking for ideas for a holiday and Carol suggests going trekking. Soon the family are hooked and Carol even more so, as she decides to make a career out of it.
Collectors info: I don't think any of these were reprinted. Not particularly common books, However they are usually not too expensive to buy.
